Carolyn is the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer of FanDuel Group with oversight of risk, regulatory, compliance and responsible gaming for the company. Her team ensures that FanDuel Group’s platform is the industry leader for customer safety, security and compliance.

Prior to joining FanDuel, Carolyn was an Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where she worked as a regulatory litigator after the financial crisis as well as in the Office of the General Counsel where she worked to build out the bank’s legal function. Carolyn joined JPMC from compliance consulting and investigations firm Guidepost Solutions, where she assisted companies with enhancing their compliance functions while under regulatory scrutiny. Carolyn was also a partner and regulatory defense counsel at the boutique law firm of Stillman, Friedman & Shechtman. She began her career as a clerk for a U.S. Federal judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and working at the Manhattan law firm Simpson Thacher and Bartlett.

Carolyn holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and earned her J.D. Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Michigan School of Law.

Originally from New England but married to a New Yorker, Carolyn jokes she cannot share her sports team affiliations at the dinner table!
